This gallery is to 'brag' with your embroidery/quilting/knitting etc etc etc ......

I will start off by 'bragging' with my ribbon embroidery (see Monica's brag" box ).  I always wanted to do ribbon embroidery and in 2002 my husband decided to 'start me off' by kindly 'donating' funds to buy my first design, ribbons, hoops and other ric-racs (which amounted to a whopping R500.00 - which was a lot of money in 2002. Ok,ok it is still a lot of money in today's economic times). My husband likes giving me gifts that I can use, like my embroidery machine, and I love getting these gifts. He is also really handy and helpful when it comes to setting up my studio and workroom (I even took over a portion of our bedroom to work in and if I could have budged him, his garage would also have been taken over), he even frames some of the finished projects.

I only started out on Di van Niekerk's designs in 2005 after I went to a Hobby X show and met her and her team.  I fell in love with her and her sister-in-law Renn and all the beautiful designs, ribbons, books and eventually in 2007 opened my studio in my house.

I still have a few projects that's not completed yet, one of these days .... one of these days ... so much to do, so little time!!
